Systems Engineering Technical Specialist (Entry-Level or Associate)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking System Engineering Technical Specialists to support the Phantom Works Supplier Requirements Engineering team in St. Charles, MO.
This position receives and formats data to provide documentation that assists internal customers in the development of engineering products, services and processes.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate (Levels 1 or 2) System Engineering Technical Specialist.
Position Responsibilities
• Assists in the collection of engineering requirements and the development of prospective suppliers
• Assist engineering with estimates, e.g.: pricing and delivery information in preparation of proposals
• Verify products meet regulatory conformance and contractual compliance
• Interface between Engineering and Supplier Management organizations
• Coordinate with Procurement Agents, Engineers, Suppliers to secure pricing and delivery information
• Create procurement requests and track status
• Responsible for Backorder status to ensure on time delivery
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
• Associates degree or years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience using verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
• 2+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Experience with programming languages, tools and applications
• Experience in a role that required the ability to work in a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
(Entry-Level, Level 1): $44,200 – $59,800
(Associate Level 2): $53,500 – $72,450
