Job Description

Define and maintain system-level requirements, architecture, and interface specifications for the 3D scanning camera system, ensuring traceability from customer needs through subsystem allocations across optical, mechanical, electrical, and software domains.

Develop and refine algorithms for 3D reconstruction, point cloud processing, noise filtering, and calibration, to optimize scanning accuracy and performance.

Lead system-level trade studies and modeling efforts to evaluate design alternatives, quantify performance margins, and inform key architectural decisions across the sensor pipeline.

Design and execute data analysis workflows to characterize system behavior, identify error sources, and validate performance against requirements using statistical methods applied to scan data, sensor outputs, and test results.

Drive verification and validation planning across all levels of integration, defining test strategies, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for both hardware and algorithmic performance.Coordinate cross-functional technical efforts across hardware, firmware, software, and test teams.
