POSITION: Systems Engineer – SETR, BCA & SE Docs
LOCATION: Quantico, VA (On-Site Work)
STATUS: Full time – Contingent Hire
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience: 5+years of related experience with support of systems engineering documentations, Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), Configuration Management (CM) and Business Case Analyses (BCA) and SE Documentation for infantry weapons, optics, and anti‑armor programs
Must Haves: Extensive experience with developing technical artifacts including requirements traceability matrices, architecture products, trade studies, and acquisition decision support documentation
Citizenship and Clearance: US Citizen with Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements
Skills: Relevant SETR, CE, Business Case Analyses and DoD Acquisition decision support documentation experience; Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong documentation and technical reporting skills, Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team, Ability to work onsite
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Client Familiarity: USMC
Tools Familiarity: DoD 5000 Manual, DoD/IC Acquisition Process, DAU courses
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Support of systems engineering SETR, CE, SE documentation and BCA for infantry weapons, optics, and anti‑armor programs
Developing technical artifacts including requirements traceability matrices, architecture products, trade studies, and acquisition decision support documentation
Develop, maintain, and deliver required documentation, reports, and analyses
Coordinate with Government IPTs and stakeholders
Perform duties in direct support of Marine Corps
