Systems deployment expert

We currently have a vacancy for a Systems deployment expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Tasks:

• Definition of Standard Operating Procedures for administrative support solutions (Digital Workplace solutions based on M365, SharePointOnLine, ServiceNow);
• Monitoring and reviewing day-to-day operations, providing management reporting and proposals for optimisations, spanning on-prem as cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) as solutions (SaaS);
• Design systems management solutions for a progressive scaling up of the install base of computers, more specifically: design solutions for the secure deployment of operating systems to computers both on premise and via the cloud for remote workers design solutions for quickly and securely patching systems both on premise and via the cloud for remote workers;
• In the event of continued remote working making sure the solutions don’t induce network infrastructure overload;
• Prepare for seamless scalability and flexibility in housing/hosting in a hybrid environment (encompassing on-prem, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Requirements:
• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• At least 4 years of specific expertise in Digital Workplace Platforms: M365, SharePoint, Confluence;
• At least 4 years of specific expertise in end user assistance/support for dedicated information systems
• Very good knowledge of Solutions Architecture, zero-trust-based security implementation, operating solutions and services management in private/public cloud environments;
• In-depth knowledge and experience in user support, training, system testing, user documentation;
• In-depth understanding of the M365 architecture and experience in M365 operations management;
• In-depth understanding and application of ITIL practices and supporting tools (SMT, Jira, ServiceNow…);
• In-depth understanding of cloud-platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and hands-on configuration, deployment and maintenance experiences;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with cloud-based technologies and providers (Azure and or AWS, SaaS providers), including security, business continuity and data protection management;
• Good knowledge of client operating systems, Windows, Linux;
• Good knowledge of Cloud services (M365, Azure, AWS) mores specifically services related to systems management;
• Good knowledge of on premise Microsoft server technologies;
• Good knowledge of remote working solution based on VPN or other technologies;
• Knowledge of Directory, Identity/Authentication and federation protocols;
• Knowledge of PKI and Encryption solution;
• Knowledge of applying ITIL practices for services life cycle management;
• Knowledge of service management tools (e.g. SMT, JIRA, ServiceNow etc);
• Following certifications are required: ITIL certification, Prince2 and Azure Fundamentals.
• Excellent command in English language.
