Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Systems Architecting, Requirements & Interfaces Engineer in support of the Bombers Mission Systems Engineering organization in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will be focused on supporting B-1 Weapons programs for Systems Engineering primarily interfacing with software teams and program management. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced, Lead or Senior Level Engineers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Position Responsibilities
• Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
• Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
• Develops, maintains, and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines
• Experience as a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills, and a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts
• General experience working in an Agile development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience in ICD development, functional / logical architecture, requirements development, specification development, system functions and SSOW development.
• Experience in Requirements Management and tools (i.e. IBM DOORs)
• Experience in verification & validation of requirements
• Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management
• Experience project engineering and executing system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Experience in systems integration and test including lab integration, ground test, and flight test
• Experience with mentoring and leading other engineers
• Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and leadership.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables.

Summary pay range:
$113,900 – $154,100
