Systems Analyst/ Functional Analyst(Java)

Responsible for gathering requirements from the client and closing them successfully.
Involved in complete recruitment process (sourcing, short listing, HR screening/interview, interview arrangements, salary negotiations, offer initiation, post-offer follow ups.)
Conducts initial interviews by phone to determine experience and skill level.
Ensure that resume appropriately reflects candidate's experience and requirement.
Arranges for client interviews and possible offer of employment.
Negotiates salaries with candidates and successfully convince them to join.
Ensure candidate is available and ready to take up the position.
Responsible for recruiting IT professional across the US through internet job portals - (Monster.com,Tech-Fech.com and Dice.com), direct phone sourcing, networking (LinkedIn), vendors and referrals.
Sourcing & screening the profiles for different requirements in a day.
Activities included but not limited to developing and building channel / vendor relations, understanding existing and pending client needs and closing requisitions

Position Description

• 7+ years experience analyzing business requirements, generating project specifications, converting specifications into code, and applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages.

• 7+ years experience developing technical designs in consultation with other technical experts.

• 7+ years experience in the following development and design tools or equivalent;

• Rational Software Architect RSA or other Eclipse based ? UML Modeling Tools ? Hyperion or Crystal Reports (or SQL Reporting Tool) ? Perforce, CVS or SVN

• 8+ years development experience in the following languages: ? J2EE, Java 5, EJB ? JSP and Servlets ? SQL ? Struts ? Hibernate ? Spring ? Web Services ? JavaScript ? XML ? LDAP using Active Directory or Tivoli

• 7+ years experience with IBM WebSphere and/or BEA Weblogic web application servers

• 7+ years experience in RDBMS developing data model database triggers, procedures, packages and functions in the following: ? Microsoft SQL Server

• 7+ years experience developing unit and system test plans, test data and scripts for application validation and verification.

• 7+ years experience performing extensive analysis and design working on projects of all sizes that require exposure to all aspects of the project life cycle and creating and maintaining documentation in conformance with established standards.

• 7+ years experience working with application/solution architects to set direction of design and development for application development projects.

• 7+ years experience evaluating user requests for new programs or modified program components to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current systems, and computer capabilities.

• 7+ years experience performing peer reviews of developed code to insure conformity to standards and design best practices.

• 7+ years experience reviewing technical designs and specifications for completeness and conformance to quality standards, especially as a mentor to less experienced developers.

• 7+ years experience analyzing business requirements, generating project specifications and converting them into code, and applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages.

• 7+ years experience working with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts

• 7+ years experience conducting system test

• 7+ years experience in verbal and written communication with clients in English
