Rycon's portfolio consists of projects and developments in health care, educational (K-12 & higher ed), industrial/warehouse, commercial, multi-unit residential, retail, financial, food service/dining, governmental, hospitality, cannabis, self-storage, and LEED facilities. We excel in preconstruction planning, MEP expertise, with experienced project team members focused on the multiple markets we serve. We also have an in-house Architectural Woodwork & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.

We are seeking a Systems Administrator at our Pittsburgh office.

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to maintain the health, stability, and security of our core IT infrastructure. This role manages servers, identity services, and network components while serving as the Tier 3 escalation point for the Helpdesk. The Systems Administrator ensures reliable operations, performs proactive maintenance, and leads troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues.

What you will do:

Maintain and monitor servers, virtualization platforms, and core infrastructure.

Administer Active Directory, Entra ID, and identity/security controls.

Support firewalls, switches, wireless, and site-to-site connectivity. 

Oversee monitoring systems, backup validation, and disaster recovery readiness. 

Provide Tier 3 support, root-cause analysis, and guidance to Helpdesk staff.

Create and maintain infrastructure documentation and procedures. 

What you will need to be successful:

5+ years of systems/infrastructure admin experience. 

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID/M365.

Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking fundamentals, and change management.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in productive environments. 

Experience in midsize enterprise environments is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of backup/monitoring/DR tools, security collaboration, and PowerShell automation is preferred, but not required.
