VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Systems Admin (Networking) for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill set required:

• Minimum 8 years in IT industry with experience in System Admin Maintenance and Support Services.

• Minimum 5 new installation and 5 migration projects

• Must be a Graduate / Postgraduate in System Engineering or with relevant technologies.

• Must be a holder of professional certifications from Cisco such CCNP Routing and Switching.

• Must have experiences in migrating and installation CISCO Network environment projects.

• Must have experiences in managing Firewall WIFI and IronPort, Core Switches and Edge Switches.

• Must have experiences in managing CISCO IP Telephony environment.

• Must have strong technical ability to trouble shoot and to provide support services.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implementing, Managing, Maintaining, Configuration and Installation of

 CISCO Equipment included but not limited to core and edge switches, firewall and IronPort.

 CISCO IP Telephony Equipment.

 WIFI Equipment.

 Network passive components.

 Backup and Restore of the equipment.

 Troubleshooting end user networking issues, including troubleshooting connectivity problems

 Equipment and devices updates and upgrades

 Polices

 Security Devices

• Designing

 WAN and LAN Network infrastructure.

 New Network expansion.

• Provide

 Policies and standards documents for naming conventions that will include the organization’s IT standards.

 A plan to facilitate the electronic exchange mail

 Monitoring and Reporting

 Resolve existing problems with network devices, servers and client machines.

 Do offsite backup deposit and testing

 Test, Distribute and install new drivers, software patches, service packs and software packages etc.

• Setup

 Operational procedures for disaster recovery backup / restore of shared resources.

 Security control standards and procedures for network equipments, servers, users, database, shared resources etc.

Terms and conditions: 

Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month).

The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in Bahrain.
