System Validation Engineer

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a System Validation Engineer for a contract opportunity in Santa Clara, CA. 

System Validation Engineer Job Details

Candidate will be responsible for system level validation for new devices and related application. 

• Participate and understand the product requirements 

• Development of extensive test plan and test scripts using structured tools, and utilities 

• Execution and traceability of test cases on a per release basis 

• Research, test, and implement new techniques, frameworks, and utilities for Validation 

• Help define and enforce validation standards and best practices 

• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, features, and functionality. 

System Validation Engineer Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience in preparation, execution and structured reporting of Mobile products (phones/tablets) validation 

• Being able to flash and load phones and mobile devices with images 

• Understanding of various mobile domains from validation aspect: Graphics/Memory/Bluetooth/Multimedia/Messaging/Database etc 

• Understanding of Client-Server functional methodology 

• familiarity with Phone build/Android build management 

• Familiar with fundamentals of iOS and Android application frameworks 

• Understanding of Apple iPhone/iPad app/Android app development life cycle
