System Test Engineer

Department Overview A software engineering team that specializes in the development of world-class digital two-way subscriber radios for the mission-critical market. Job Description • Analyzes requirements, design specifications, system topology and develop test procedures based on customer user cases and maintains/update test procedures, for the organization’s products and systems. • Performs system integration test of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. • Develops, validates, and tests (functional & non-functional tests) • Analyze, submit and manage defects. • Assist in resolving customer field issues on live production systems. Troubleshoot customer reported issues Maintain client/server product. • Influence, participate actively and drive decision making quickly within and outside of organization. • Upgrade, troubleshoot and maintain test tools & infrastructure • Document the processes and system configurations for future reference. Basic Requirements • Fresh graduates or 1 - 2 years working experience. • Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or Communication Engineering. • Experience in script languages such as AutoIT, VB, Java. • Familiarity or experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and practices, Software Development Life Cycle is preferred. • Knowledge in Android, IoT, LTE are added advantage • Works under general supervision, self-motivated, able to work and integrate well into cross-functional team. • Good English communication, interpersonal skill • Customer focused and result oriented. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with an attention to detail. • Candidate must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
