Job Description
The System Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operation and functional units by managing the day-to-day and overall, one of our system operation at one of our clients and will report to both ProgressSoft Operation Manager and client’s management.
Responsibilities
• Plan, develop and review client’s operational initiatives, objectives, policies, procedures and methods.
• Execute strategies for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly operations for the systems.
• Manage capacity planning in coordination with Operation Manager and Client’s Management to secure continuity of services.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with client objectives and service level agreements.
• Manage operational teams, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues.
• Coordinate with ProgressSoft management and Client management for strategic and operational decisions.
• Establish and monitor operations compliance with policies and procedures.
• Oversee productivity objectives and manage the achievement of quarterly and annual productivity plan objectives.
• Assist with performance development and measure job performance and reporting.
• Identify change initiatives for improved operating efficiency.
Requirements
• Experience in Banking industry and IT operations.
• Knowledge of Project Management Institute methodologies and standards. Project Management Professional.
• Ability to work in effective collaboration with technical, finance and business teams to ensure integrated approach.
• Self-initiation with a proactive mentality and know-how-to-know skills.
• High level of performance, especially under pressure.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent follow-up skills.
• Accuracy and attention to details.
• Highly motivated and able to influence and motivate others.
• Proficiency in Arabic/English written and verbal communication.
• Sound judgment in executing plans and achieving future goals.
