TEAM
Our team aims to develop much safer and more secure vehicle applications for mass production vehicles. A robust fail-safe mechanism, including redundant configurations, is essential for automated driving systems. It is extremely important to detect system failures and perform fail-safe operations for automated driving systems. We are waiting for applications from those who are interested in developing important technologies for automated driving systems and driving support systems.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of AD/ADAS systems and experience in fail-safe design. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively define system requirements and system architecture to realize fail-safe operations by collaborating and coordinating effectively with a wide range of cross-functional AD/ADAS stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate in cross-functional activities to realize a safer and more secure automatic driving system or driving support system
• Define system-level and software-level requirements to realize fail-safe operations
• Design system architecture considering real-time behavior based on fail-safe requirements
• Design evaluation specifications based on fail-safe requirements and analyze evaluation results
• Design and implement development support tools to improve development and evaluation efficiency

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Over 6 years of professional experience in system-level or software-level development in the automotive industry
• Experience in fail-safe development of automotive systems or other safety-related systems
• Experience in deriving, tracking, and verifying automotive application requirements using the V-model process
• Ability to identify, analyze and resolve system problems
• Working proficiency in English
• Ability to understand Japanese used in everyday situations.(ex. Japanese is required more than N2 based on JLPT or equivalent level.)

NICE TO HAVES:
• Experience in FMEA/FTA
• Knowledge of standards in the automotive industry (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 21448)
• Software coding skills (Matlab, Python, or C/C++)
