p Unix Linux Engineer Unix Linux Administrator Vmware Scripting p Must Have Unix Linux Engineer Unix Linux Administrator Vmware Scripting Linux Unix Administrator or Unix Linux Engineer Excellent Administration knowledge and Hands on experience of Unix Operating s systems RHEL 5 x 6 x 7 x 8 x and HPUX flavours Exposure in Server hardware platforms HP ProLiant Blades Itanium and Dell Servers Must have good knowledge Server Operations RAID ILO Firmware etc Understanding of server and storages technology Ability to design infra and provide solutions Good knowledge in the Linux system architect Strong document knowledge for preparing SOP and Project delivery solutions Should have good hands on experience of in OS patch and Upgrade Must have good experience of package management Installing 3rd party software on RHEL Other OS servers Knowledge of Virtualization technologies VMware HyperV and Hyperv KVM ESX servers Taking care of the correct maintenance of the servers that supports Standalone Servers and VMware Linux Understanding of TCP IP NFS SSH SCP FTP SUDO Strong knowledge on IDM LDAP AD DNS DHCP SMTP NIS and NTP ss Should be able to look at the error logs config files and understand the problem symptom and route the incident problem ticket to appropriate teams Should have basic knowledge of Red hat Satellite Servers ss knowledge in scripting to collect the data from logs filter the outputs and submit it to higher level for further troubleshooting Strong scripting knowledge Shell Perl or Python etc Knowledge in Ansible automation Knowledge on how to run the performance tools like vmstat prstat and top to monitor the system performance Knowledge in Data Migrations Disaster Recovery tests is required Ability to work collaboratively with other Command Center team members to support deadlines ability to work independently as well Ensure client satisfaction and client management Reporting to customers and management on status resources need and projected outcomes Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in an operations environment Ability to follow standard operational principles and practices and use software management tools appropriately Creative approach to problem solving working for Problem diagnosis and resolution Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines Knowledge in Docker management will be added advantage Added advantage to have skill in AIX Administration Added advantage to have skill in Cloud AWS Azure
