Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for systems design and implementation tasks associated with next generation wireless products. The candidate will work within the systems development team to develop algorithms as well as practical implementations of these algorithms in hardware.
Responsibilities include:
o Developing practical implementations of high-speed transceiver algorithms, carefully architected for low-power, high-throughput, and robustness.
o Simulating and verifying the performance of these implementations with other teams.
o Development and debugging of bit and cycle accurate models of these algorithms.
o Chip bring-up, performance testing/evaluation, and trouble-shooting problems.
Job Qualifications
o Electronics and Communication Engineering: MS/Mtech. degree with minimum 3 years experience or a PhD degree with 2 years or equivalent.
o Strong fundamentals in digital communications, signal processing, and hardware design.
o Design and implementation experience in wireless communication architectures.
o Proficiency in C/C++ and Matlab/Simulink are required.
o Background in RTL design and analog/RF is desirable.
o Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python is a plus.
o Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, etc. is desirable.
o Excellent communication skills and willingness to interact with various groups within the company.
