SysOps Administrator

Under the direction of the Infrastructure Manager, defines, implements and evolves IT solutions, ensures efficient, secure and flexible IT operations according to best practices, supports the global IT infrastructure for internal users at A2MAC1 production sites (France, USA, Mexico, China and India) and our customers in the Azure Cloud.

The sysops administrator will be versatile across the entire A2MAC1 scope, while emphasizing technical leadership in a particular area of the company's technical environment (network, client/server system or cloud).

Tasks & responsibilities

• Be the technical referent on client/server system perimeter;
• Supports day-to-day operation of systems (visualization platforms VMware & Hyper-V, data backup solutions Veeam Backup & Azure Backup Management, update/patch, evolution...);
• Maintain the overall operation and support of A2MAC1 information systems. Anticipate incidents by reinforcing the level of operation;
• Take charge of IT infrastructure evolution projects, plan and coordinate actions, ensure follow-up and report to management;
• Develop the security policy and ensure its implementation;
• Manage IT infrastructure assets, suppliers and contracts;
• Anticipate/manage projects & task to support A2MAC1 strategy.

Requirements:
Expertise in:

• On premise system infrastructure (hardware, virtualization, storage, backup…);
• Azure platform;
• Network: switch, firewall, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP;
• Cybersecurity;
• System: Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, Linux;
• Powershell scripting;
• Cloud: Microsoft 365.

Skills & Abilities:

• Professional English, knowledge of French, German or Chinese is a bonus;
• “Team Player” attitude;
• Knowledge of various IT and business functions, software development process;
• Great interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills;
• Writing of documentations and creation of architecture diagrams;
• Good communication skills;
• Good IT technical skills in system, virtualization, network and cloud;
• Security: application of security policy;
• Project management: participation in projects, deployment planning, progress reporting;
• Good knowledge of relevant ITIL / ITSM / ISO27001 best practice standards and IT technologies;
• Experience in automotive or industrial business is a bonus.
