SW Development and SW Requirements

Job Description:

This is an opportunity for a SW Requirements and SW Design position.

The Avionics Systems Department is responsible for integrating the Helicopter Systems with the platform, in order to ensure the capabilities of the Helicopter match the requirements requested by the customer for the intended missions.

We are looking for someone to join us in the challenging world of SW Development in Avionics and related SW activities in the Helicopter Industry. Avionics SW integrates the functions of the Helicopter Systems in one or several computers and display devices, enabling the crew to manage the Mission the aircraft is intended for.

You will work in SW Requirements and SW Development of embedded and not embedded systems, contributing to all the SW lifecycle activities, from SW Architecture, Design, High and Low level requirements, Implementation, Verification and Validation as your main target, but you will also participate and support other activities as SW Specification and SW Qualification inside this organization, as well as support other organizations activities (System Architecture, System Engineering, System Integration, Configuration Management, Certification and Qualification, and others)

You will be involved as SW Requirements, SW Design and SW Development in NH90, Tiger and CUC-T programs

We expect from you autonomy, independence, responsibility and team work in transnational projects and your participation in our current challenges and the new ones to come.

Your main activities in will be:

Define SW Requirements based on System Functional Specifications.
Create, follow and refine SW Requirements Specifications.
Create, Modify or Adapt SW Architecture and Source code, generating SW Desing documents
Create, Modify or Adapt SW Design, generating Version Description Documents, SW Release Notes, and other SW Life cycle deliverables.
Changes / Adaptation of the Data Models and Data Items in internal tools
Implementation (adaptation) and execution of Unit Tests
Implementation (adaptation) and execution of CSC Tests
Verification (i.e. inspections/walkthrough) of Design, Source Code, Unit and CSC test artefacts
Generation of Design Documentation and of Unit and CSC Test reports
Support and active participation in other activities as: System Architecture, Change management, System and SW Qualification testing contribution to SW Project Reviews and Qualification process and any additional SW routines.
Support the SW Team and SW activities processes, methods and tools daily improvement and update.

Your profile should be:

Holder of a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or other Engineering with experience in SW Development and SW Methods.
Experience in SW Requirements Analisys and System modeling tools: Doors, Cameo.
Experience in Avionics Interface protocols (Milbus, A429, A664) and Interface documentation
Experience in programming Languages: C, C++, Ada, Rust, …
Knowledge of embedded SW and critical SW development.
Experience in SW Configuration methods and tools as: Git, SVN, ClearCase.
Experience in Scripting languages as Python, Bash.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Desirable knowledge in Data Bases: SQL, mySQL
Desirable Avionics knowledge.
Soft Skills: Autonomy, Independence, Flexible-minded, Team work, Target-oriented, Self-organization, Communication in transnational environments, Creative and rigorous.
Languages: Negotiation level in Spanish and Advanced in English. Ability to communicate.
