• We are seeking a skilled Functional Safety Engineer responsible for Safety development at the software/AI level for ADAS systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing and implementing functional safety (FuSa) and SOTIF requirements at the software/AI level, ensuring safety concepts are effectively integrated into the development process.
• Lead functional safety (FuSa) and SOTIF requirement analysis and manage safety requirement discussions in ADAS projects.
• Derive FuSa/SOTIF concepts and define SOTIF strategies at the software level, delivering safety requirements to software developers.
• Support safety-relevant design and assist with the analysis of safety-related issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct and lead safety analysis, including Software Dependent Failure Analysis (SW DFA) and SW safety analysis in projects.
• Prepare and review safety documentation for design, testing, and validation of safety-critical systems.
• Handle Proof of Concept (PoC) features with a focus on:• Analysis of critical data attributes/dimensions
• Identifying model weaknesses
• Deriving safety KPIs and safety analysis tools
• Developing standalone safety models
• Continuously enhance knowledge in safety engineering and emerging technologies to keep the team updated with the latest industry standards.
• 4+ years of experience in ADAS function development or 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI applications and mainstream model architectures in the ADAS domain.
• Proficiency in software implementation, including PoC coding and integrating new methods on development platforms.
• Prior experience in AI model development and deployment is a strong advantage.
• In-depth understanding of ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 standards.
• Strong knowledge of functional safety (FuSa) and SOTIF in the context of ADAS system development, with a focus on system-level and software-level safety solutions.
• Excellent English skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical documentation and specifications in English.
