Engineering Intern – Product Sustaining / Manufacturing Support
Location: Onsite
Hours: 10–20 hours per week
Status: Internship (Paid)
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support our Product Sustaining Engineering team. This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) student who is interested in hands-on work in a manufacturing and clean-room environment and wants exposure to real-world product support, troubleshooting, and qualification activities.
The intern will work closely with engineers and production teams to help diagnose issues, run experiments, support testing, and assist with continuous improvement efforts. This role is designed to help build foundational skills that support a future career in product sustaining, manufacturing, or product development engineering.
Key Responsibilities
• Support sustaining engineers with hands-on lab and manufacturing floor activities
• Assist with electrical measurements, testing, and data collection using lab equipment and power supplies
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical or manufacturing issues
• Run experiments, execute test procedures, and assist with test code execution
• Support product qualification and development activities
• Work with microscopes and other tools in a clean-room environment
• Document findings and present technical information using Excel and PowerPoint
• Assist with root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering, test, and production teams as needed
