Position Overview:

We are seeking a certified Sustainability Manager to lead the integration of ESG and SDG frameworks into our platform and operations. This individual will drive our sustainability strategy, oversee the generation of ethical sourcing and social impact reports, and ensure regulatory alignment with global ESG reporting standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience in digital waste management, is fluent in ESG frameworks, and is passionate about leveraging data for positive environmental and social outcomes.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the sustainability strategy aligned with us mission to enhance the waste value chain traceability and social impact.
• Design and implement ESG reporting structures and sustainability dashboards using platform data.
• Generate high-quality, audit-ready ESG and SDG reports, including disclosures aligned with GRI, SASB, TCFD, and UN SDGs.
• Collaborate with tech and data teams to develop automated reporting tools for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the company's social impact, especially in enhancing the role and welfare of waste pickers and local communities.
• Ensure compliance with international standards for ethical sourcing and responsible waste management.
• Support the marketing and business development teams with sustainability insights and data for partnerships, grants, and clients.
• Lead cross-functional training and awareness programs on sustainability best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Social Impact, Business, or related field.
• Professional certification in ESG reporting (e.g., GRI Certified, SASB FSA Credential, ISSP, or similar).
• 5+ years experience in sustainability strategy, preferably within tech-enabled waste management or circular economy sectors.
• Proven track record in generating ESG/SDG reports and integrating frameworks into organizational processes.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; experience working with BI tools and sustainability reporting platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with the waste management value chain, ethical sourcing, and environmental justice principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
