The Boeing Company is seeking an Early Career Sustainability Analyst located in Hazelwood, MO or Tukwila, WA to join our Global Sustainability Reporting and Governance team.
The Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES) organization supports Boeing’s efforts to enhance resilience and efficiency. The Global Sustainability Reporting and Governance team contributes to public policy development globally, prepares sustainability reports aligned to various global requirements (e.g. California SB261, CSRD, ISSB, etc), and manages integration of compliance, operational and strategic risks for the GES organization.
The team is looking for a dynamic, engaged professional to support cross-functional reporting initiatives and carbon reduction activities. The role includes supporting the operations and integration of the team and working with internal colleagues at all levels and external stakeholders to advance the team’s overall impact. This role is ideal for someone who excels at coordination, stakeholder communication, and process improvement.
Position Responsibilities:
• Coordinate globally and cross-functionally with functions, such as Government Operations, Global Law, Corporate Audit and Corporate Finance to gather data and reporting inputs in a timely and accurate manner
• Organize and lead regular status meetings, stand-ups, and reporting cycles; maintain clear documentation of project activities, decisions, and changes
• Ensure alignment with organizational priorities and standards; continuously improve project management processes and tools
• Support the internal industry engagement coordination activities
Critical Skills and Key Requirements for Success
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects in matrixed organizations
• Effective written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in both written and verbal English
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Capability to work across multiple time zones – most notably the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, and the European Union
• Proven ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive involvement and collaboration through influence
• Natural propensity to build relationships and strong business acumen to assess impacts of global sustainability policy to the aerospace industry
• Strong natural leadership style that moves people to act, motivates and inspires excellence and innovation
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, project and data management tools
• Capability to travel across (including internationally) up to 25% of the time
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience in environmental studies, public policy, business development, or sustainability
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and corporate risk frameworks
• Experience in multi-tasking and working in a team environment
• Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
• Experience with Greenhouse Gas data collection, aggregation and calculations; knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Protocol methodology
• Experience with sustainability policy, environmental compliance or chemical regulations

Summary pay range: $79,050 - $115,000
