Job Description

Unique opportunity to train under a Japanese veteran Sushi Chef at Chico’s premier sushi restaurant! This is an entry level position, but depending on your experience and aptitude, you will learn sushi preparation, rolling, and how to prepare authentic Japanese small plates including sauces and flavors.

We’re looking for a reliable, ambitious, and team-oriented Seasonal Sushi Assistant to support our sushi team through our busy season. If you love working in a fast-paced kitchen, want to learn authentic Japanese cuisine, and bring a can-do attitude every shift, we’d love to meet you!

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, but you must have the aptitude and passion to want to learn Japanese cuisine. Experience in a Japanese restaurant is a plus.

Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance

Ability to work well in a team-based environment

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Attention to detail and commitment to quality and cleanliness
