POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the protection of the casino bankroll and assets of Belterra Park through CCTV taped surveillance. Supervision of the Surveillance Department in a cost-effective and professional manner. Compliance with gaming laws, regulations and internal controls in all areas of casino operations and support services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures.
• Develop, implement, and enforce surveillance department policies and procedures.
• Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and proprietary information disclosed by any Belterra Park entity or by a guest of Belterra Park.
• Address Team Member questions and concerns; conduct internal investigations as needed.
• Oversee and evaluate all investigations pertaining to the surveillance department.
• Hire, train, coach, assess and review the job performance of subordinates including both non-exempt and exempt team members.
• Develop programs and provide training to all surveillance personnel to include proper surveillance and gaming procedures and techniques for detecting cheating, theft or fraud against the Company.
• Continue professional development of self and subordinates as well as assist all team members with career planning and counseling as needed.
• Completes necessary reports in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
• Complete and/or review all reports on surveillance related issues.
• Ensure the notification of surveillance related incidents to the Director of Surveillance and OLC by the deadlines set forth in the state regulations.
• Continuously remain alert for any for any criminal activity such as theft or cheating.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ensure that all surveillance equipment is in proper working order at all times.
• Ensure that the Company maintains compliance with all gaming regulations through taped surveillance, within the area of responsibility.
• Clear understanding of other department’s operations in order to effectively direct observation of these areas.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Effective mathematics and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent of two years of experience in surveillance or a technical position; preferably as a lead or supervisor.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment
Must successfully pass background check
Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
• Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Knowledge of proper surveillance techniques for detecting cheating, theft, and fraud.
• A broad knowledge of casino rules, procedures and administration.
• Must have excellent business communication skills and strong time management skills.
• Must be able to do the work of those supervised.
• Fully Competent in Microsoft Office.
The ability to maintain visual focus on various monitors for extended periods.
