• Mid-level support professional to handle Food and Beverage point-of-sale software (POS) support in hotel and restaurant environments for Australia.
• Support includes understanding Food and Beverage operations, gathering user requirements, and installing and setting up equipment (e.g., servers).
• This includes workstations, printers, and other relevant devices, as well as system configuration, site surveys, equipment and remote system testing, and basic documentation.
• Knowledge of network cable connections for multiple hardware devices is required.
• Ensure the solution meets specifications and functions per customer specific operational workflow.
• Report on the additional functional requests from customers to our internal Product and Development team.
• Answer operational and application questions and consult the customer.
• Work coordination with various internal technical teams, such as Product Team / Implementation Team / Development Team, etc.
• Remote based support of all Shiji applications and hardware.
• Support scheduled after hours on-call roster.
• An understanding of and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Previous experience with software troubleshooting, hardware and software installation/upgrades.
• IT Knowledge a plus.
