Role overview
This role will serve in the Records department to support the Health Information Specialist teams. The primary functions of this role will allow the Health Information Specialists to stay organized and complete tasks that allow them to focus on more advanced responsibilities. This role will work hand in hand with the 2nd.MD Records team to facilitate world class second opinions in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.
A Day in the Life
• This position is onsite at our office in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm EST
• Process inbound and outbound correspondence daily
• Coordinate with the 2nd.MD Records team daily to ensure an exceptionally fast turnaround for 2nd.MD consultations
• Accurately enter information into a proprietary online platform
• Compiling, maintaining and updating departmental and member records
• Managing department inventory
• Work with Records department leadership and/or other Records staff as needed
• Protect confidentiality of personal health information (PHI) and proprietary business information
• Operating office equipment including computers (Apple/Mac and PC) printers, and scanner/copier machines

As an onsite position, the hourly rate for this role is:
$19.00/hour

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.
