Overview

As we scale our Design, Manufacture, Construct (DMC) model, we're hiring a Supply Chain & Tool Systems Manager to centralize and optimize the material, tool, and equipment workflows critical to jobsite readiness and operational excellence.
This role is foundational to our next phase of growth. It blends operational execution with systems development and future team building. You will build and run disciplined processes that improve visibility, accountability, and efficiency in material flow and tool control. In the near term, you will be hands-on and deeply involved in day-to-day logistics. Over time, you will grow a team and scale systems across geographies and projects.
Role Purpose
To design, implement, and continuously improve Creature’s centralized tool control and supply chain systems—ensuring our jobsites are equipped, field-ready, and operating with clarity and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Centralized Tool Control System
- Build and lead a comprehensive, centralized tool tracking system—including check-in/check-out protocols, condition reports, maintenance schedules, and calibration logs.
- Standardize new hire tool onboarding kits and ensure Day One readiness for field personnel.
- Deploy preventative maintenance and tool return workflows to reduce loss, downtime, and asset degradation.
- Fleet management of company owned vehicles and trailers including close coordination with Field Ops to determine needs across the platform.
- Partner with field leadership to ensure jobsite tool needs are forecasted and fulfilled on-time.
Supply Chain & Material Management
- Implement a material ordering system aligned to production demand.
- Partner with PM Teams to integrate centralized supply chain with project specific requirements and direct purchases
- Develop supplier relationships that support schedule-driven delivery and minimize inventory burden.
- Drive deployment of a digital inventory management system for consumables, materials, and field kit of parts.
- Standardize receiving and inspection protocols to eliminate material defects and ensure order accuracy.
General
- Embed visual management into daily operations—supporting transparency and continuous improvement within the Production System.
- Create clear handoffs and feedback loops between takeoff, buyout, and fulfillment for tooling and material.
- Implement 5S Strategy for all tooling, trailer buildout, warehousing, and field kit of parts.
- Work with Engineers to document clear, repeatable SOPs for all material and tool workflows.
Leadership Growth & Team Development
- As demand scales, recruit and develop a high-performing team to support supply chain, logistics, and tool control.
- Model hands-on ownership in the short term while building systems that enable future delegation.
- Serve as a connector between Field Ops, Manufacturing, Precon, and Finance—ensuring material and tool readiness is never a bottleneck.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in manufacturing or construction supply chain, field logistics, or tool control
- Experience implementing Lean systems and 5S practices
- Track record of building operational systems from scratch
- Strong technical proficiency with inventory and tracking systems
- Proven leadership mindset with a bias for execution
