Job Description

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As a new graduate in the Supply Chain Rotational Program, you’ll have the unique opportunity to gain experience across multiple different teams within our Supply Chain organization. You will bring your fresh perspective and eagerness to learn, and we will provide you with exposure to different areas within Supply Chain, and opportunities to enhance and develop your skills and experience to kickstart and grow your career.

At Arc’teryx we are rooted in the idea of “there is always a better way.” We are committed to engaging the whole person to develop and coach employees to achieve their goals and do their best work. As part of the Rotational Program, you will have the opportunity to identify your vision and goals, connect with senior leaders from the teams you are supporting, and present your learnings and insights to the Supply Chain leadership team. The New Graduate Rotational role is varied, and one candidate's rotation will not be the same as another's.

This is a permanent, full-time role. At the end of the two-year rotational program, you will move into a dedicated role within one of the Supply Chain teams. This role will be based out of our North Vancouver Head Office and our Manufacturing facility in New Westminster. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

The Supply Chain team at Arc’teryx brings the vision of our products physically to life and into the hands of our guests, wholesale partners, and retail stores across eight teams, working with various external parties and different areas of the business.

During the Rotational Program, you will have the opportunity to work with three of the following eight teams that compose our Supply Chain organization::
• Product Creation Development - A highly technical team that is involved in the execution and creation of seasonal product plans from design concepts through pre-production readiness, while ensuring a consistent level of quality, fit, and performance.

• Sourcing - The Sourcing team is responsible for sourcing, quality, compliance, and production functions globally, ensuring we have the supplier capacity and capability to help deliver our products on time to our quality standards

• Raw Materials - Working closely with internal and external partners, the Raw Materials team manages the basic, unprocessed materials that are used to create our products, identifying innovative and commercially viable materials that meet our performance, aesthetic, cost, and quality standards.

• Merchandise Planning & Allocations – MP&A delivers on bottom-up inventory and buy plans that align to financial targets, annual budgets and open to buy to drive alignment at the intersection of our Design vision, Merchandising strategies, and market channel growth strategies.

• Manufacturing – Our Manufacturing facility is where the most technical and iconic products are made. Beyond just producing the products, our Manufacturing facility is also where new products are incubated through a close partnership between Design, Production Creation Development and a team of product construction experts in Manufacturing to ensure best functionality and quality.

• Warehousing - The Warehousing and Logistics team is the small but mighty operational brain of the Arc’teryx brand and works in close concert with Arc’teryx Commercial, Merchandising, and other Supply Chain functions teams to deliver our business goals in the near and long-term. This team plays a critical role in ensuring services delivered are in line with brand strategic objectives.

• Strategy and Integrated Business Planning – A team with true end-to-end visibility across our business and our business processes, pivotal in developing and implementing robust process frameworks, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational efficiency enhancement.

• Sustainability - The Sustainability team is responsibility for our global sustainability strategy and leads our objectives in critical areas like climate, circularity, and impact to help guide Arc’teryx toward a future where sustainability is integral to our success.

If you were in the Supply Chain New Graduate Rotational Program, here are some of the core activities you would be doing::
• Spending eight months working closely with one team within Supply Chain before rotating to the next, for a total of three rotations over a two-year timeframe

• Experiencing and engaging in collaborative work and operations at our Head Office in North Vancouver, and our Manufacturing & Distribution facility, ARC’One, located in New Westminster

• Learning the inner workings of the Arc’teryx Supply Chain and bringing enhancements into each rotation based on previous rotation learnings

• Helping to operationalize and standardize business practices and identifying process improvements

• Providing insights and recommendations, based on your observations

• Supporting teams with day-to-day tasks and projects, as required
