Job Description

In this role, you will play a central part in driving a standardized global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process supported by SAP IBP. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will translate global demand into feasible supply, inventory, and production plans while ensuring alignment across Sales, Operations, and Finance. You will act as a process and system expert, enabling high-quality planning outcomes, supporting stakeholders globally, and continuously improving planning processes, tools, and capabilities.

S&OP CYCLE & MEETING MANAGEMENT

You will prepare and manage the monthly global S&OP cycle in SAP IBP by ensuring data readiness, maintaining planning templates, and validating master data and constraints. You will align and communicate the S&OP calendar with financial planning cycles and coordinate deadlines across the global planning community. Additionally, you will organize, prepare, and facilitate key monthly meetings, including the global S&OP meeting, cross-functional alignment sessions, and S&OE reviews, ensuring clear follow-ups and accountability for actions.

GLOBAL SUPPLY BALANCING & SCENARIO PLANNING

You will translate the global demand plan into a feasible supply, inventory, and production plan that respects capacity and network constraints. By developing and evaluating multiple planning scenarios, you will support data-driven decision-making and optimize overall business outcomes. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align forecasts and assumptions, while ensuring a seamless transition from planning to execution in collaboration with S&OE. Furthermore, you will prepare and facilitate the global S&OP meeting, presenting key insights, performance updates, and the aligned mid-term plan.

S&OP CAPABILITY BUILDING & DOCUMENTATION

You will drive capability building across the organization by planning and delivering S&OP process and SAP IBP trainings to global and local stakeholders. You will continuously enhance training materials and develop supporting content such as guides and tutorials. In addition, you will ensure that all S&OP process and system documentation remains accurate, complete, and up to date, enabling consistency and transparency across the organization.

MARKET PLANNING SUPPORT & COMMUNITY ENABLEMENT

You will act as a key point of contact for local planners, providing second-level support and ensuring the quality and consistency of global planning outputs. You will actively foster collaboration within the global S&OP community by organizing knowledge-sharing sessions and contributing as a subject matter expert. You will also create and distribute relevant updates, guidelines, and instructions via internal platforms, while monitoring and evaluating market performance through the global S&OP scorecard.

SAP IBP GOVERNANCE & SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION

You will ensure the stability and quality of the SAP IBP system by managing system issues, coordinating with IT, and validating fixes through structured testing. You will identify and prioritize system enhancements based on user feedback and evolving business requirements, driving continuous improvement of the planning landscape. In collaboration with stakeholders, you will track implementation progress and ensure the system reflects the latest supply network design to maintain accurate and transparent planning results.

PROCESS EXCELLENCE & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

You will contribute to the ongoing development and standardization of the global S&OP process, including supporting distribution partner markets and enabling adoption of SAP IBP. You will assist in optimizing safety stock strategies in line with global guidelines to balance availability and inventory levels.
