Location: Office based – Commutable to Lytham St. Annes Lancashire (Car Essential)
Department: Supply Chain
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Type: Full Time. Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm - 37.5 hours contract / Hybrid Working (1 day as optional)

We are seeking a motivated and organised individual join our small dynamic team in Lytham St. Annes at a time of expansion within our organisation. This is a great opportunity to join us at an exciting time, with scope for further development opportunities.
Role Overview:
This pivotal role involves supporting the Operations Manager working with shipping lines, freight forwarders, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience with the ability to work independently and collaborate with the wider team, have a passion for retail and/or manufacturing and a can-do attitude, as sometimes we all must pitch in! It is a fun place to work, and a sense of humour is welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Objectives.
Generate Purchase orders.
Input Data into Customer portals – CRM knowledge is beneficial not essential.
Communication with China factories and arrangement of Critical paths to complete admin, in-house data bases and customer tracker requirements.
An understanding of the manufacturing process, alongside audit processes and requirements required for customers.
Analyse and communicate shipping timelines and hand over date for goods to ensure we meet deadlines.
Compiling key reports to support Product Development & Sales team.
Provide analytical skills to navigate the orders and challenges that are associated with a fast-paced business in a calm and organised manner.
Sample Management: Communication with the Product Development & Sales team to maintain organised Product files on internal systems.
Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to manage critical paths. Building direct relationships and communication with factories and China Office.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Development and Sales teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of products.
Customer Co-ordination: Close communication and build relationships with Customers nationally/internationally.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience: Previous experience in supply chain or merchandising, preferably within retail or the Homeware industry but not essential.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, external suppliers and customers.
Organisational Skills: Proactive and organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Analytical Thinking: Capability to analyse and organise data with attention to detail and accuracy.
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Package:
Up to £28k Base Salary - per annum, based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
