Job Description
Responsible for managing and leading all activities related to Supply Chain, Category Management and Purchasing including managing suppliers order (Local, Import and Private Label), ensuring accuracy of the Category Management Process, Ordering Process (Import and/or Wholesale), replenishment of warehouse and branches, review of Sales (New Products), Promotion Process, Import and/or Wholesale timely processing and arrival of orders and document accuracy and ensure that all orders meet agreed internal customer service levels in a professional and cost-efficient manner as per Euroland’s predefined standards.
₋ Ensure all Supply Chain activities are within the assigned budget by setting the required targets and responsibilities.
₋ Develop the supply chain policies and procedures, ensure the implementation of the same in line with Euroland’s other policies.
₋ Administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules and procedures in coordination with the Direct Manager.
₋ Manage the implementation of all activities within the Supply Chain Department including (but not limited to) the following:
ü Import and Private Label Activities.
ü Supply Chain Activities (Including Supply Chain Coordination).
ü Category Management Activities.
ü Purchase Order Creation.
ü Purchase Order change/ cancellation.
ü Buying Process.
ü Review of sales and Sales Movement (New products).
ü Promotion process.
ü Ordering Process (Import and/or Wholesale).
ü Replenishment of Warehouse and Branches.
ü Near Expiry Products.
ü Return of items from Branches to the Warehouse.
ü Receival, issuance and arrangement of goods.
₋ Ensure all orders (Local, Import and Private Label) for Euroland are as per pre-existing Supplier agreements and prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
₋ Ensure all incoming shipments for Euroland are managed accurately and in a timely manner.
₋ Ensure all required documentation is available and accurate including Pos, RFP, RFQs and other related documents.
₋ Review and monitor the initial sales, gross margin, and inventory forecasts used in developing the final operating budget for Euroland items.
₋ Ensure plans in place to meet monthly budgets as outlined through retail management, vendor rebates, and markdown management, ensuring all are in-line with Euroland business requirements.
₋ Oversee the implementation of merchandise plan and all business metrics within Euroland Stores.
₋ Develop weekly and/or bi-weekly department merchandising plans.
₋ Review and approve supplier’s evaluation sheet and ensure that procurement activities are implemented at the best prices, payment terms and quality available in the market.
₋ Approve the selection of appropriate vendors based on the evaluation results achieved by the Manager – imports and Private Label and Category manager (Local).
₋ Liaise and negotiate with Euroland ’s suppliers to ensure the achievement of the best possible results.
₋ Ensure that each PO or Contract is accompanied by an approved requisition document, a quotation analysis and other supporting documents (i.e. original quotations, special agreements with suppliers).
₋ Oversee the price lists of all items from suppliers is regularly updated to maintain accuracy in regard to PR’s and PO’s.
₋ Ensure achievement of going in gross (GIG) margin rate targets by category as per Euroland budget requirements.
₋ Continually try to improve and develop business performance within the constraints of lead times, delivery schedules and order cycles.
₋ Review and manage landed costs of all Euroland SKUs, in order to drive the business toward efficient costs per SKU in accordance with Euroland’s business needs.
₋ Integrate order cycles with other key functional areas within Euroland .
- Manage partnerships with internal and external distribution partners while optimizing distribution and leveraging costs to ensure consistent availability and pricing of all products.
₋ Review Supplier performance, regularly and ensure all Suppliers are meeting the required standards in regard to prices, quality and delivery times.
₋ Ensure needed allocation and management of staff resources according to the changing needs and requirements of Euroland ’s business.
₋ Oversee the implementation of strategic marketing plans including advertising, in-store specials, promotional, and special buys.
₋ Oversee the category assessments on the Local, Import and Private Label items and implement changes necessary as outlined in the plan and use analysis to ensure bad performing SKUs are replaced.
₋ Coordinate with Quality department and gain approval for new Private items to ensure they meet Euroland ’s set quality standards.
₋ Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
₋ Prepare and submit periodic reports to direct management pertaining to the Supply Chain Department’s activities and any issues that may arise.
₋ Prepare and submit regular reports pertaining IN/OUT status reports, Clearance status reports, goods age at Port reports, consumption reports, and manpower status reports to the Direct Manager.
Requirements:
₋ Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field.
₋ Masters Degree in Business Administration, or related filed would be an advantage
₋ Lean Supply Chain Masters Certification would be an advantage
₋ Category Management Professionals Certification would be an advantage
