Supply Chain Intern

Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

The Supply Chain Intern will support the Supply Chain team with day-to-day analysis, coordination, and process improvement initiatives across planning, procurement, inventory, and logistics functions. This role provides hands-on exposure to core supply chain operations while contributing to real business needs, including data analysis, reporting, cross-functional communication, and continuous improvement efforts. The intern will gain practical experience working with ERP systems, dashboards, and cross-functional partners such as Operations, Finance, Sales, and Manufacturing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with basic supply chain data gathering and validation (e.g., inventory levels, open orders, shipment status)
• Support the team with simple reporting, trackers, and spreadsheet updates
• Help monitor purchase orders and follow up on routine status questions
• Assist with inventory reviews and reconciliation activities as directed
• Support logistics coordination tasks such as shipment tracking and documentation
• Participate in team meetings and take notes or summarize action items as needed
• Assist with documentation of basic processes and work instructions
• Provide general administrative and analytical support to the Supply Chain team

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related field
• Strong interest in learning about supply chain and operations
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow directions, ask questions, and manage assigned tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Physical: Typical activities may include prolonged periods of sitting or standing, using a computer, and occasional movement within the workplace.
