Department Overview

Motorola Solutions Finance Operation Center is a department of Motorola in Kraków which gives you an opportunity to participate in the setup of the new organization. The center is a part of our global network of Finance Operation Centers (FOC) which provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa and US region. It is a dynamic environment where your ideas and input will be valued and where you will do some of the best work of your life.

Job Description

• Cost accounting functions for supply chain activity
• Monthly reconciliation of inventory accounts and reserves
• Responsible for monthly and quarterly journal entries related to the above
• Create monthly credit memos for international, federal & internal returns
• Provide support to shared services team for any occurring issues
• Monthly/quarterly inventory reporting
• Assist with SOx testing and PwC audit as required
• Participate in ad hoc projects as necessary

Basic Requirements

• 3+ years of finance/accounting experience
• Knowledge in cost accounting concepts, able to identify areas for improvements
• Preferably knowledge of Oracle EBS applications, advanced MS Excel
• Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Excellent English
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff, both locally and internationally
• Strong organizational skills
• Proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude
• High analytical skills and ability to link various data sources to reach conclusions;
• Ability to learn new IT systems;
