Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Intern to support our process improvement initiatives. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to document, analyze, and visualize business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in documenting current-state (“as-is”) business processes through interviews, workshops, and data review
• Create clear and accurate process maps using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar
• Support analysis of process gaps, bottlenecks, risks, and redundancies
• Help develop future-state (“to-be”) process maps and improvement recommendations
• Maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to validate process flows
• Prepare presentations and summary reports for project updates
Required Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand complex workflows and translate them into visual diagrams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with process mapping or improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN)
• Experience with process mapping or diagramming tools
• Interest in operational excellence and continuous improvement
