This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Manufacturing. You will manage new product launches, support the technical transfer of formulations from R&D to external partners, help onboard new suppliers, and build systems that improve communication and execution across the value chain.
You will ensure that every new product - from early formulation to first production - is executed with clarity, accuracy, and operational discipline.
Project Management & Product Launches
• Lead end-to-end commercialization for new products, line extensions, and manufacturing changes.
• Build and manage project timelines, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure on-time execution from development handoff through customer delivery.
• Evaluate and support external manufacturing partners to ensure readiness for scale-up and launch.
• Identify cross-functional risks and drive mitigation plans to support successful execution.
Technical Transfer from R&D
• Serve as the operational bridge between R&D and external partners to translate product requirements into scalable manufacturing processes.
• Support bench-to-pilot and pilot-to-production transitions by ensuring materials, equipment needs, and process requirements are clearly defined and validated.
• Capture learnings from trials and early production runs to improve consistency and manufacturability.
• Provide structured feedback to R&D on process performance, ingredient behavior, and scalability considerations.
Supplier Outreach & Onboarding
• Partner with Procurement and other cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and onboard ingredient and packaging suppliers.
• Coordinate samples, testing, specification reviews, and required documentation for supplier approval.
• Support supplier qualification and performance validation during trials and early production.
Systems & Process Improvements
• Build and improve internal tools and documentation that support disciplined, repeatable commercialization.
• Identify process gaps across R&D, operations, and external partners and propose scalable improvements.
• Establish documentation standards for formulations, processes, and commercial readiness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to increase reliability, speed, and execution quality.
Operational Execution Support
• Support supply chain planning for materials and packaging needed for new launches.
• Coordinate with external partners to ensure production readiness and alignment on requirements.
• Assist with feasibility assessments and issue resolution during trials, scale-up, and production.
Requirements:
Required:
• Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Commercialization, R&D or a related cross-functional role in food or CPG.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to organize complex, multi-step workflows with clarity and precision.
• Structured communicator with the ability to translate technical information into clear operational steps.
• A detail-oriented mindset with discipline in documentation, follow-through, and systems building.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity in early-stage environments and resolving problems through resourcefulness and persistence.
• Humility, curiosity, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
• A desire to help build an early-stage CPG company and meaningfully contribute to product success across the value chain.
Preferred:
• Experience working with co-manufacturers or food manufacturing partners.
• Exposure to commercialization, technical transfer, or supplier management.
• Familiarity with BOM management, specification systems, or commercialization workflows.
• Degree or background in Supply Chain, Operations, Food Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Benefits:
