Ownership and key responsibilities:
The SQA will coordinate all necessary SQ related activities for his / her Site, to ensure best quality performance of suppliers, especially during Serial production phase.
He / She is the interface between the Site and the centralized SQD network to ensure all SQ related site needs are shared / escalated to centralized SQD network.
The SQA is allocated to hierarchical structure of Site Quality and is functionally advised RSC / B&C SQ Director.
Main Authorities and Missions:
The SQA shall ensure:
•All locally managed suppliers and external services are followed by audits at least for Special Processes (with support of SQD if needed),
•Locally managed suppliers are monitored and analysed in terms their quality performance, Top Worst suppliers are identified and communicated to Local Sourcing and to SQD network
•Local supplier panels are reviewed and developed with Local Sourcing organization for continuous improvement
•Escalation to Central SQD of issue with supplied components heavily impacting production or customer (Hot and Safety Issues)
•In case of SQD lead Hot Issues, all local (containment) actions are organized with the local SQA team and response is shared back to leading SQD
•Support SQD and PL SQ coordinators for Product releases (e.g. physical IS measurements, assembly tests, etc.)
•Incoming Inspection instructions are (regularly) updated following the input from PPAP and quality issues with supplied parts (II activity)
