• Ensure the raw materials test certificates and consumables certificates according to drawing, QAP and technical specifications.
• Conduct visual and measurement inspections of products/materials as per QAP, drawing & technical specifications to ensure quality compliance.
• Having sound knowledge of welding standards, manufacturing processes and Testing standards.

• Identify the area for quality improvements and recommend the process simplification.
• Monitor and report supplier performance through key metrics, scorecards, and risk dashboards, providing actionable input to the Procurement and Category teams.
• Assess supplier capacity on a periodic basis and communicate any limitations or risks to relevant internal stakeholders to support proactive decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to align on technical requirements and support design changes, capacity expansions and new product introductions.

Introduce and promote Lean methodologies, supplier scorecards, and structured audit systems to drive compliance, transparency, and continuous improvement.

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical education.
• 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in supplier quality management, supplier development, or manufacturing quality, preferably in the construction materials, steel fabrication or industrial components with strong execution capability but not a people-management role.
• Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), 8D and control plan methodologies.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes and standards, material grades, testing and certification requirements and welding standards (e.g. EN, ISO, AWS).

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills to support data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written); proficiency in HINDI is essential for supplier communication.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across internal teams, customers and suppliers.
• Proven problem-solving capability and ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
