SQA Engineer - Mail Division

GENERAL MISSIONS:

• Lead a global Supplier Quality Assurance approach, based on the PDQP requirements, from the development stage to the serial life, and during the resourcing programs.
• Manage the quality control (quality performance evaluation, actions plan, audit) of the tier 2 vendors in Asia.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

• Management of our Tier 2 suppliers in Asia.

• Definition of some preventive actions plan with our tier 2 suppliers (audits, IQC jigs management, process optimization…).
• Management of the parts quality KPI with our OEM partners. Improve the tier 2 suppliers follow up by our OEM partners.
• Ease the communication between our tier 2 suppliers and our OEM partners (or Quadient factories) in terms of parts quality follow up and quality issues.
• Ensure the coherency of the IQC/OQC procedures between our tier 2 suppliers and our OEM partners.
• Management with our OEM partners and tier 2 suppliers of the Standard Norms compliancy (UL, Reach, RoHS…).
• Management of the toolings booklets.
• Take part in the evaluation and validation of new suppliers (new technologies, new suppliers for the Cost Reduction program…) or new OEM partners in Asia.

 

• Parts industrialization and validation.

• Take part in the technical discussions with the project team.
• Define parts validation strategy with the project SQA engineer.
• Follow up the definition and the fabrication of the IQC jigs with the vendors.
• Handle the parts submission with the tooling engineer and the vendors.
• Gather all the quality documentations (Control report, certificate…) at vendor side for the parts validation process.
• Manage the double check at OEM side or tier 2 vendor side if required.
• Release the final PVR (Parts Validation Report) to the vendors.

• Adhere to and promote to our panel of vendors the company Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility policies.
• Adhere to the processes of the Quality System.
• Comply with and promote the Health and Safety policy and processes.
• Adhere to the Quadient’s Code of Ethic (including the Quadient Group values) and promote the Suppliers’ Code of conduct.

EDUCATIONS and EXPERIENCE

 

• Quality engineer (University / Engineering school level).
• Experience: at least 5 years in a similar position.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical skills:

• Good overall technical knowledge (machines assembly, mechanical parts...)
• Extensive knowledge of the parts production processes
• Parts control ability and measurement equipment use
• Good quality “tools” knowledge (quality audit, 5S, 8D, P-FMEA, PDCA…).
• Familiar with UL, REACH regulations

 

• Personal skills:

• Good communication skills in an international environment
• Open minded
• Strong leadership, used to make decision.
• Rigorous
• Autonomous in action definition and follow-up

 

• Language skills:

• English, Mandarin and Cantonese: fluent
