Ensure the quality of purchased components from external suppliers in accordance with M/PUQ-QueP procedures, with the purpose of guaranteeing the quality of the final component delivered to customers.

• Manage quality incidents in the plant, material containment, and ensure the continuous flow of defect-free materials to the plant.

• Supervise and support supplier quality cost recovery.

• Manage supplier concessions resulting from quality incidents.

• Prepare specific reports for the division (Inc/bn CRI – SRI, RRDC, Concessions).

• Support PPAP approvals.

• Coordinate teams of 5 or more associates: assign tasks and schedules, monitor work, and support the team through coaching.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency required (ability to lead meetings and communicate effectively with international suppliers and stakeholders). German is a plus.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:• Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions. 
• Experience with statistical techniques and quality reporting.
• Hands-on support and attention to detail required.

• Technical Knowledge:• Strong understanding of assembly processes (preferred background).
• Knowledge of metrology and industry-standard measurement techniques. 
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process documents, and quality assurance standards.
• Experienced in using ISIR, PILUM, SRM, BOSISQ, SupplyOn, SAP, and Minitab.

Soft Skills:• Leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Strong presentation skills, with experience engaging different organization levels.
