The Job in a Nutshell💡

We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our team. In this leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations to ensure financial accuracy, maintain compliance with IFRS standards, and support the timely preparation of financial reports while enhancing the efficiency of accounting processes.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, supervise ERP transactions, and contribute to continuous process improvements and best practices within the department. Additionally, you will play a key role in guiding the accounting team and fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do 💡

• Oversee daily accounting activities, ensuring journal entries and reconciliations are accurate and fully compliant with IFRS.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports, making sure all figures are complete, reliable, and clearly presented.
• Monitor and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification, supporting documentation, and consistency across records.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and HR to ensure correct cost allocation and accurate financial reporting.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits by organizing required documentation and responding to auditor queries in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls, and help implement practical enhancements.
• Provide clear insights and recommendations to improve financial procedures and operational workflows.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support informed business decisions.

Requirements:
What Are We Looking For ❓

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Several years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory or senior role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Proven ability to lead, guide, and develop a team while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a plus.
