Supervision Aide

The Supervision Aide is responsible for ensuring the safety of all scholars while modeling school values of Joy, Health & Wellness, High Expectations, and Perseverance. A Supervision Aide works with the Campus Supervisor to ensure a safe, clean and orderly lunch period for all scholars.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Walks the school grounds and observes that the behavior and activities are permissible, safe, and aligning to scholar expectations; appropriately addressing behavior that is not acceptable.
Utilizes appropriate disciplinary procedures and techniques in accordance with the school site discipline plan.
Enforces school safety standards at all times; appropriately address behavior that is not acceptable.
Assists students with appropriate cafeteria behavior when lining up, having lunch, and leaving the lunch area in an orderly manner.
Is an exceptional role model and supports all scholar’s social, emotional, and physical well-being
Observes condition of grounds and equipment for safety, reports to the Campus Supervisor and Principal conditions as needed.
Administers light first-aid when necessary
Develops strong relationships with scholars and school staff to ensure success
Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with school-age children in a recreational program and/or leading and instructing large groups of school-age children in organized activities
Spanish speaking is preferred
First Aid and CPR certification preferred
