We are hiring a Supervised Lead Behaviour Therapist - Full Time
The Registered Behaviour Analyst will provide leadership, clinical training, coaching, and mentorship to staff in the delivery of clinical supports. This role ensures the effective implementation of Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), promotes best practices in behaviour supports, and fosters a culture rooted in accountability, respect, collaboration, and the rights of individuals supported
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide training for staff regarding behaviour support plans, daily activity schedules, and behavioural data collection.
Provides training on Safe Management Group (SMG) techniques.
Provides training on implementation of behaviour support plans (BSP).
Provides training on developing and implementing daily activity schedules (DAS).
Provides training on accurate data collection including participation data, antecedent, behaviour, consequence (ABC) data, confinement time out (CTO) data, and any other data required by the clinical department.
Mentor and support staff, modeling professional conduct, interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution strategies.
Provide guidance and recommendations for continuous improvement in clinical practices.
Conducts fidelity checks and treatment integrity checks to measure staff adherence to BSPs, and reports results to the Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Area Administrator.
Educational and Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviours.
Demonstrated ability to implement BSPs with high fidelity.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading staff.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
SMG certification (or willingness to obtain).
Post-secondary education in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behaviour Analysis, or a related field.
Advanced training in behaviour supports, crisis management, or positive behaviour support strategies.
Previous experience leading or supervising clinical staff in a residential or community setting.
