Superintendent

We are looking for a Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial construction projects from start through completion. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. The position works closely with project managers and field teams to maintain progress and resolve issues in real time. This is a strong fit for someone who is hands-on, organized, and experienced in leading construction projects in the field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and vendors to maintain project schedules and sequencing
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure accurate field execution
• Monitor project progress and proactively address delays, conflicts, and field issues
• Conduct daily site walks and maintain detailed field reports and documentation
• Lead subcontractor meetings, coordinate inspections, and manage punch list completion
• Collaborate with project managers on scheduling, budgeting, and overall project performance
• Ensure quality control standards are met throughout all phases of construction

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Experience managing ground-up or large-scale tenant improvement projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and jobsite coordination
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of safety regulations and experience enforcing jobsite safety protocols
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with subcontractors and managing multiple trades simultaneously
• OSHA certification preferred
