About the Role:
Martin Concrete Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Superintendent – Mission Critical to lead concrete crews on complex projects such as data centers, power facilities, and water/waste treatment plants. In this role, you will oversee all field operations, including safety, production, quality, scheduling, manpower, and cost control, while ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet the highest standards.
This position is for a decisive, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments. You will serve as the primary on-site representative for Martin Concrete, coordinating with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and general contractors to ensure the successful execution of mission-critical projects.

What You’ll Do:
Direct and manage all concrete field operations on mission-critical projects, ensuring safety, production, quality, manpower, schedule, and cost control
Uphold Martin Concrete’s safety culture and ensure all team members and subcontractors are properly trained and certified
Oversee complex concrete scopes, including foundations, slabs, elevated decks, equipment pads, and structural concrete
Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules
Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules, including three-week look-ahead plans, and participate in preconstruction, pre-pour, and operational meetings
Serve as the primary on-site representative, maintaining professional relationships with owners, general contractors, and inspectors
Supervise, train, and mentor crew members, promoting team development and consistent project standards
Track labor, material, and equipment productivity, manage job costs, and adjust resources as needed to maintain budget and schedule commitments
Develop detailed pour plans, including manpower, equipment, truck logistics, placement rates, and contingencies
Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, timekeeping, safety inspections, and quality records
Communicate daily with Project Managers regarding jobsite activity, production, and challenges, and coordinate with other superintendents and field leadership as needed
Support business development efforts by maintaining positive client relationships and representing Martin Concrete professionally during site walks, meetings, and inspections
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of field construction experience, with at least 3 years in a superintendent or similar supervisory role on complex commercial or mission-critical projects
Proven experience in data center or mission-critical facility construction, including coordination of high-tech systems and tight tolerances
Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, sequencing, and site logistics
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or nights as project demands require
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
OSHA certification
ACI or TCA certification
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
