$110,000 – $150,000 base (DOE) + Bonus
About the Opportunity
A growing civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale public infrastructure and heavy highway projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who can independently run projects from start to finish while managing crews, subcontractors, and schedules in fast-paced environments.
Projects primarily include transportation and public works infrastructure, including bridges, earthwork, drainage, and structural concrete scopes ranging from $1M–$30M.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all onsite construction activities for heavy civil/highway projects
Manage daily field operations, crews, and subcontractors (5–12 personnel typical)
Maintain project schedules and coordinate closely with Project Managers
Procure materials and coordinate site logistics
Conduct quality control inspections and enforce safety standards
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Manage multiple trades and maintain accountability across subcontractors
Utilize tablets/apps for daily reporting and timekeeping

Required Qualifications
5–8+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience
Proven experience running projects valued $1M–$30M

Knowledge of concrete, structural steel, and site development coordination
