Pharmacy Technician

Location: SUMMERLIN- 89128
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$21 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. This role primarily involves assisting patients with prescription pick-up, managing front desk responsibilities, and handling incoming phone calls. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Assist patients with prescription pick-up and provide excellent customer service

Manage front desk operations, including check-in and payment processing

Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately

Communicate effectively with pharmacists regarding prescription status and patient needs

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance

Keep the front desk and patient areas organized and professional

Support pharmacy workflow as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician experience preferred; new graduates welcome

Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment

Basic computer and data entry skills

Knowledge of pharmacy software systems preferred

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Pharmacy Technician certification

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine pharmacy tasks
