We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Operational Development to join our Operational Excellence team in Espoo/Hyvinkää. As an operational developer you will be working with experienced colleagues on change communication, process development and deployment. Your daily responsibilities include for example creating communication material, process documentation and supporting in change management activities. You will work closely with your colleagues who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your understanding of corporate operations, cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Espoo or Hyvinkää with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for an Industrial Management/Supply Chain Management student who is eager to learn more about operational development tasks in a large industrial company. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your project management skills, documentation skills, hard-working attitude and enthusiasm in developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so excellent proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Academic background in Industrial Management/Supply Chain Management (preferably 3-4 years of studies from a university or a university of applied sciences)
• Understanding of corporate/industrial company processes, project management and change management from your studies or working life
• Skills in traditional IT-programs e.g. Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks within industrial companies and understanding of ERP processes (e.g. SAP) are seen beneficial
