We are looking for a Summer Trainee, IT Project Management to join our 1KC Implementations team in Hyvinkää. As a summer trainee you will be working with project management of ERP implementation projects. Your daily responsibilities include for example

• Supporting IT project managers with project planning and coordination
• Facilitating meetings with different stakeholders
• Reviewing and updating materials related to project methodology.

The detailed content of the work will be refined according to the background, skills and interests of the person being selected. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for an industrial engineering and management or business management student who is eager to learn more about project management tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork and organizational skills, hard-working attitude, ability to adapt to different situations and enthusiasm for continuously developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Academic background in industrial engineering and management, business management, or other relevant technical or commercial field of studies (preferably 3rd-4th year studies)
• Understanding of project management principles and methodologies, ERP systems and manufacturing and finance processes from your studies or working life
• Knowledge in traditional IT-programs (e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, etc.), and preferably have experience on ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI)
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as beneficial
