We are looking for Summer Trainee, Analytics Engineer in to join our Business Intelligence -team in Espoo or Hyvinkää. Our team specializes in the development of business analytics in Konecranes' Industrial Services and Equipment business unit. In this role, your main responsibilities will revolve around developing and maintaining modern business data warehousing solutions for BI reporting purposes for your business. Your tasks include creating new data warehousing views for business analysts , further developing existing business data warehousing solutions, collaborating with end users to collect new development needs and collaborating with other members of the team to develop the BI environment. In addition, you will work closely with other team members who will help you get started with day-to-day tasks. This is a great opportunity to develop your teamwork skills and network with industry professionals. The position is based in Espoo or Hyvinkää, with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a Technical or Commercial student who is motivated to learn more about business analytics tasks. You are welcome at Konecranes as yourself, but we especially appreciate good teamwork skills, a brisk attitude and enthusiasm for learning. Our work community is international, so it is important to have fluent knowledge of English in the position.

Requirements:

• Academic background in technical or commercial studies (preferably minimum stage of 3rd year studies)
• Understanding of business analytics and business reporting that you have had the opportunity to accumulate in your studies or working life
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and analysis.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with PySpark, Databricks and Power BI is seen as beneficial but not mandatory
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
