ABOUT THE ROLE
The Hotel Compliance & Inbox Coordinator, Summer Student position will work alongside the Hotel Operations Support Coordinator and report to the COO. The EventConnect operations team comprises three departments that help support EventConnect’s 400 Partnerships, 25,000 Hotel Relationships, 12,000 Clubs and Teams that all operate on the EventConnect system. Our mission is to provide unparalleled service and support for all sectors of the youth sport industry that operate on the EventConnect system.
In this role, you will focus primarily on hotel compliance and inbox management, supporting the Hotel Specialists team in maintaining accurate reservation data, processing compliance updates, and delivering timely customer service to hotels, event organizers, and guests operating on the EventConnect platform
RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing hotel compliance reservation changes and cancellations, including accurately inputting and verifying confirmation numbers in the EventConnect system.
Conducting proactive hotel follow-up to ensure compliance deadlines are met, maintaining strong communication with hotel contacts throughout the event cycle.
Managing and triaging inbox tickets, responding to hotel and partner inquiries in a timely and professional manner and escalating complex issues to the appropriate team member.
Responding to hotel and guest booking feedback, ensuring concerns are acknowledged promptly and routed appropriately for resolution.
Supporting the Hotel Specialists team with ad hoc compliance projects, data clean-up, and reporting tasks as needed throughout the summer
