Atlantic Road Construction & Paving is a well-established heavy civil construction company specializing in mass excavation, drilling & blasting, pipeline and underground utility installation, concrete placement, and asphalt paving.
With continued growth over the past several years, we are excited to expand our team for the 2026 construction season. We are currently hiring Summer Student Labourers to join our crews and gain hands-on experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assisting with general labour duties on construction sites
Supporting pipe installation, grading, concrete work, and paving operations
Conducting daily inspections of tools and equipment
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Participating in daily safety meetings and following all safety protocols
Working closely with Foremen and crew members to complete tasks efficiently
Learning about heavy equipment and construction processes
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Positive attitude and safety-first mindset
Reliable, punctual, and organized
Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
Interest in construction, civil work, or skilled trades
Previous construction experience is considered an asset, but not required.
