Required Skills
Job Description
As part of our test development team, you will design, develop, and validate active probe solutions used for high‑speed signal measurement, characterization, and debugging to be used for ATE (Automated Test Equipment):
Hardware Development & Design:
• Design active analog/mixed‑signal probe front-ends including amplifiers, buffers, attenuators, protection circuits, and bias networks
• Develop high‑speed PCB layouts optimized for signal integrity, impedance control, crosstalk reduction, and electromagnetic compatibility
• Select and evaluate suitable components
• Perform circuit simulations and system-level modeling
Validation & Testing:
• Build and characterize prototypes using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and logic analyzers
• Conduct performance validation: bandwidth, noise, linearity, input impedance, settling time
• Create detailed schematics, layout documentation, validation reports
This internship gives you the chance to see your ideas come to life in real lab environments! This topic can also be offered as a potential bachelor or master thesis.
Your Profile:
You’re a motivated student currently pursuing studies in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, ICE/Telematics, Biomedical Engineering or similar
Technical Skills:
• Solid knowledge in analog and mixed-signal circuit design
• Knowledge of PCB layout tools and simulation tools (Spice)
• Hands-on experience with lab measurement equipment and debug techniques
Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
• Clear communication and documentation skills
• Self-Driven and motivated personality
• Good English skills (spoken and written)
